It’s Time to Say Goodbye

Hey there, Poptropicans.

The title explains it all. I’m not blogging anymore. Nor am I explaining in detail why. If you really want to know why I’m quitting, read my recent post on the PHB. Heck, you probably already have.

PW, I’ve made you an admin. And TC, I’ve made you an admin, too. Please look after Explore, Collect, Compete for me. I also gave every author all of the permissions on the ECC Discord server, EPC, so you guys are free to change up the server however you’d like.

And everyone else, keep up the good work, you’re all doing wonderfully. I’ll miss all of you so much, and thank you for every blogging experience. I’ve learned so much from all of you, but it’s time for me to leave. I’m sorry my stay here was so short-lived.

Goodbye to Popular Wolf, Tall Cactus, Super Comet, Happy Lobster, Shaky Skunk, Brave Tomato, HPuterpop, Fishy… you get the gist of it. Goodbye to all of the PHB authors, and to all of my dear friends who I’ll never forget.

Even if I didn’t mention you, I promise you were thought of. All of you.

For the last time, ever,

– Mighty Gamer.

ECC Polls: Minigame Madness- It’s the End

Hey there, Poptropicans!

This is the end. I can’t believe it’s been 4 weeks, but yup, Minigame Madness is nearing its end. But don’t worry, because this’ll be the longest post of the segment thus far! Not that the others were that long, anyway.

Alright, let’s get right to it… It’s time to reveal the winning minigame! And the winning minigame is…

Legendary Swords! Legendary Swords got a total of 8 votes, and Haunted House came in 2nd with 5 votes. Here’s the bar chart. Be amazed.

The first poll I introduced was a battle between said minigames: Prepare for Impact (with 3 votes), Shrink Shot (with 6 votes), Legendary Swords (with 10 votes), and Dr. Hare’s Secret Lab (with 5 votes). Here is the oh-so-anticipated bar chart (ok, was I the only one excited for the bar charts?):

The 2nd week’s poll’s winner was quite clear. Earth Day and Nano-Combat Training both got 0 votes! Haunted House came first this time, with a total of 11 votes, and the Blimp Adventure came in second place, with a total of 4 votes. Hey, I would have voted for Haunted House, too! Here’s the bar chart:

Hey, wait, that’s it!

Well, I believe that’s all for Minigame Madness! What did you think of it? Like or dislike? Let me know in the comments below.

See ya!

Announcing… Favorite Poptropica Character Tournament!

(Welcome to ECC’s first guest post! This guest post is brought to you by Teen Arachnid. This is another poll, but way longer than the previous. (Minigame Madness) If you want to quickly get the voting, click here for the bracket, click here for part 1, and click here for part 2. Enjoy reading the details!)

Heyyo everyone! Today I have a special announcement! My blog is collaborating with one of my favorite blogs: Explore, Collect, Compete! Everyone give them a round of applause! 👏👏👏👏

Now you are probably wondering how this happened. Well, I was chatting with Mighty Gamer, a blogger on the Poptropica Help Blogand Explore, Collect, Compete. She said I could do some guest posts on the E.C.C. blog. So I thought to myself: what about a fan tournament. After some brainstorming, we decided on a Favorite Poptropica Character Tournament.

Sadly, I am not allowed to use Polldaddy. So, I will use Challonge for the brackets, and Google Forms for the voting.

This tournament will have approximately 11 parts. Here is the info:

Part 1 and Part 2 will each have 33 questions. 32 being multiple choice, and 1 being short answer. It literally took me a minute to vote, so it shouldn’t take long to vote. Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, and Part 6 will have 9 questions each, 8 being multiple choice, one being short answer. Part 6, 7, and 8 will have 9 questions each, 8 being multiple choice, 1 being short answer. Part 9 will have 5 questions, 4 being multiple choice, and 1 being short answer. Part 10 will have 3 questions, 2 being multiple choice, and 1 being short answer. Finally, Part 11 will have 2 questions, 1 being multiple choice, and one being short answer. After that, we will find out the winner.

Also, points will be based on percent. For example, if Captain Crawfish had 67% of the votes, then he would get 67 points. If the person who he is competing against, let’s use Sarah Snooty for example, got 33% of the votes, she would get 33 points. Obviously, Captain Crawfish won, because he has the higher percentage. Now, if a lot of people vote, then there would be a better chance for both of them to win. So you better vote!

Speaking of voting, here are the links to the bracket, and the first 2 parts!

So what are y’all waiting for? Go vote! Also, check out Explore, Collect, Compete. There are two link in the first few paragraphs. Don’t forget to comment, like, and follow my blog! This is Teen Arachnid, and come by next week for the next parts of Favorite Poptropica Character Tournament!!! (Brought to you by Teen Arachnid Blogs and Explore, Collect, Compete.) 😄

ECC Polls: Minigame Madness, Poll 3 (Last Voting!)

Hey, Poptropicans!

Welcome to the 3rd and final voting! Next week, the winning minigame as well as the voting count for each minigame will be revealed, so look forward to that.

Last time you could have voted for Earth Day, Haunted House, Nano-Combat Training, and the Blimp Adventure. But the poll is down now, meaning you can’t vote!

But the end of poll #2 means the beginning of poll #3, so let’s get into the details. This time it’s between the two most voted for minigames, Legendary Swords with 10 votes and Haunted House with 11 votes.

This will determine the winner, and I know I’ve said this a couple times now, but choose wisely! Ah, gosh, I still can’t vote… Oh well, I’ll be rooting for Haunted House, though I originally wanted Shrink Shot to win. 😛

Well, here goes nothing…

See y’all next week!

ECC Polls: Minigame Madness, Poll 2

Hey, Poptropicans!

Welcome back to week 2 of Minigame Madness, poll 2! You could have voted for Prepare for Impact, Shrink Shot, Legendary Swords, and Dr. Hare’s Secret Lab. But now you can’t, since the poll went down today! (6/15/16)

It was a close match, but Legendary Swords prevailed! (Sadly… sorry, voters. I wanted Shrink Shot to win.)

Also, I’d like to add that on the final post, the results of every poll will be revealed. Not only that, but on a bar chart. How shmancy! So look forward to that. 😀

Anyways, let’s get on with this week’s voting. These week’s choices are Earth Day, Haunted House, Nano-Combat Training, and Blimp Adventure.

Again, choose wisely! Ugh, and I still can’t vote…

Well, see y’all next week!

ECC Polls: Minigame Madness, Poll 1

Hey, Poptropicans!

Welcome to ECC’s first poll, which I like to call Minigame Madness! This will be short. There’ll be 4 posts, and one will come out every week for the next month until it reaches its end.

The first 3 posts are where the actual voting happens, and the 4th post will have the winning minigame. As you can see below, the choices are Prepare for Impact, Shrink Shot, Legendary Swords, and Dr. Hare’s Secret Lab. Choose wisely!

Sadly, I won’t be voting myself, but everyone else can, even the authors! Man, I wish I could vote for Shrink Shot…

Well, see you guys next week with the next set of minigames! Poll goes down on the 15th.

New Author Needed! – Well, Wanted

Hey, Poptropicans!

Mighty Gamer here, and I have some great news for you all! Or at least, for other authors that are looking for another blog to work on. wink wink

There’s Popular Wolf, Tall Cactus, Super Comet, Happy Lobster, Shaky Skunk, and then there’s me. But we want just one more author! But if there are more authors we find perfect for the position as well, we won’t turn it down. We just (want) authors!

So if you’re an author, and you are looking to join another blog, you can, here at the ECC! All you have to do is email me your Poptropicans name/pen name, your experience[s] and qualifications! Also, for your experiences, please send me the links to the blogs you work on, or worked on.

And your writing must have good spelling and grammar so that you’re easily understood by others. If you have that down, you just might end up here.

Well, that’s all for now. 😉
