I know you were all looking forward to the new authors, but…

Explore, Collect, Compete is closing down. Permanently.

Look, I’m sorry, I really am. We (the authors) just didn’t know what else to do. Ever since MG left, the blog has been going downhill. Less views. No new comments, aside from the new authors post. A slow, silent death.

But the main issue was that almost all the posts from the past month or so were also posted on other, more popular blogs. There isn’t anything original anymore, the blog has lost its charm. What’s the point of doing it any longer? I’m sorry but I just can’t! We can’t!

Thank you to everyone who has read ECC, it means a lot. It really does. ECC wouldn’t have become as amazing as it is without you guys.

ECC will not be deleted, just inactive from now on. As for the Discord server, that will be deleted, since it’s even more inactive then the blog. But I may wait a couple days, I’ll announce more details over on there.

I’m sorry, I truly am, but it’s for the best. Who knows, maybe we’ll revive it one day! You never know…

PS: I had such a hard time coming up with the words to write this post. We were originally going to have all the authors work together to make it, but that unfortunately didn’t work out. So sorry if it was corny, I tried my best. And I’m sorry for saying sorry so many times.

  11. I thought I should at least comment on a blog post of a blog I made what feels like forever ago (instead of only 10 or so months ago). To those who contributed to the blog, thank you. This blog made it very far thanks to those who helped out, and I really appreciate it.

    Thank you to Tall Cactus, Popular Wolf, Iain, and Brave Dolphin for being such wonderful friends. Without the lot of ya, I wouldn’t have blogged for as long as I have. You all gave me such wonderful memories – memories that I of course won’t forget over a short span of time. I genuinely thank you for the wonderful times.

    Also, to the rest of the bloggers/ex-bloggers that I have never been that close to (Shaky Skunk, Happy Lobster, and Super Comet), I also appreciate all of the memories and experience I’ve gained blogging with you. And I thank you for your dedication to this blog, which I apologize for quitting.

    And I can’t forget the supporters (likers and commenters)
    I thank you for checking out this blog to begin with and taking the time to read our posts. We worked so hard on our content and made sure it was of the very best before release. I’m really sorry that we had to let you down like this. It was probably upsetting enough to see me leave the blog, never mind see the whole blog shut down, and I apologize for that.

    Now that this blog is gone, I will leave too – permanently this time.
    I know what I have discussed to some of the ECC authors (Tall Cactus and Happy Lobster), but I must leave now. No more parties, no more milestones, no more Mighty Gamer.

    It is over. I will not be returning.

    Goodbye, Poptropicans… I can only say pop on now.

Thank her for being such a good friend to me and tell her I wish her nothing but the best for her & her life. I don't have the heart to say this stuff on Discord myself…
