Theory Thursdays: Unsolved Mysteries of Poptropica #3

Ahhh, Thursday. Everyone sure loves Thursday, not only because it’s the day before Friday, but also since it’s time for…

theorythursdays

This week, I am once again doing the Unsolved Mysteries of Poptropica, where you ask questions about things unknown in Poptropica, and I create theories to answer them. You guys loved the previous two so much, so why not do a third post?

Our first question comes from Ultimate iPad Expert:

“Why do our characters have weird names (adjectives and nouns), but island characters have more normal names?”

TC’s Theory: The Creators don’t want any players to share their real names, so they make them have weird names just for safety reasons. In the islands, however, everyone is either fictional or historical, so having them have normal names doesn’t matter.

Secondly, Super Comet says:

“So… got a question. What REALLY happened to Shark Boy? LOL that has been asked SO MANY TIMES!”

TC’s Theory: I bet he’s still working in the Shark Museum, waiting for his chance to change his name back to Shark Boy…cough cough *Shark Guy is a stupid name* cough cough…

Our third question is also from Super Comet:

“How did the Greek guard get on top of the roof on Shark Tooth Island!?!”

TC’s Theory: He probably got there because of the time machine mess from Time Tangled, and ended up on Shark Tooth Island.

Our final question is from Ian/ Infinity App Nerd / Mad APPer:

“Why don’t Poptropicans wear shoes?”

TC’s Theory: ’cause their oval feet only fit into boots, but the Booted Bandit wears boots, so they choose to just not wear any shoes at all….JUST KIDDING! What probably happened is that when the Creators first made Poptropica, they couldn’t fit shoes, so they just never added them. Poptropicans heads are just way too big. No one notices their feet!

Well, that’s all for now. See you next Thursday for another theory!
